WOW: The Walk to School Challenge!

10th Jul 2025

Great news, we made it in to the top ten! Huge thanks to Mr Murphy for organising this initiative in school. Here is a message from Jims Shaw, the South Yorkshire Coordinator.

Hi everyone,

Here are the results of the (very) hard-fought, summer-term WOW Top Ten Challenge for Sheffield schools.

Congratulations to our winners and runners-up – who will both receive certificates later today (hopefully, I’ve lots of catching up to do after being off all last week!), and well done to every other school who made the top ten, or who just missed out.

There will be three more chances to win, move up, or climb into the top ten, next year ðŸ˜Š

Thanks all for being so wonderful and keeping WOW going all year. It is very much appreciated.

Regards,
Jim Shaw (South Yorkshire Living Streets Project Coordinator)
