Y1 English: Our Wonderful Writing!

The children have been thinking about how to describe themselves, linked to our science work. 

They were then asked to write about themselves with little input from adults - as they know themselves so well!

It was a great opportunity for them to demonstrate their independent writing skills! They had to concentrate really hard in order remember to apply their phonic knowledge. Some used their phonic mats to help them. 

Well done to everyone in Y1, we are all very proud of you!
