Y1: Winter Art!

13th Jan 2020

Last week we based lots of our work around the season of winter.  The children considered clothing, weather, animals behaviour, the amount of day light and much, much more!

We used the ideas to create winter counting poems and added our own descriptive adjectives to them.

The children also looked at the bare trees and drew these using both chalk and charcoal.

Don't they look brilliant?

They considered the shapes and lines really carefully.

Some of the pictures are on display in class and some are displayed on the art board near the Y5 classroom for everyone to see.

Please pop in and take a look!
