Y2: Investigating a Woodlouse's Favourite Habitat!

26th Sep 2019

We have all been on a woodlouse hunt to discover what type of home they like best!

We each made predictions about the type of habitat they liked:

  • dark and dry
  • dark and damp
  • bright and dry
  • bright and damp

Most of us chose bright and dry!

We then went on the hunt and counted all the woodlice we found.

Guess what! We were wrong!

We discovered that most woodlice prefer to live in dark and damp places! This means that this is their favourite habitat!
