FS2: Visiting our School Pond and Wildlife Area

Our FS2 children have been learning about the different types of minibeast that will be living in in our school grounds. They are becoming experts in identifying them and knowing which habitats they might be found. They had a walk to our wildlife area and carefully watched for any movements in the pond...

They were not disappointed!

There were lots of water boatmen and several pond skaters. They will keep visiting to look for any changes in the wildlife - we would love to see dragonflies making our wildlife area their home.
