Our Virtues to Live By

26th Sep 2021

As part of our prayer programme this year, and in common with other Hallam Diocese Catholic schools we are introducing “Our Virtues to Live By”. These are a cluster of human virtues which make up the key virtue of love.

We will focus on two virtues each term in order to deepen our understanding and appreciation of the essential role the virtues play in the formation and education of the whole person towards human flourishing.

The virtues chosen are common across cultures and faiths, but are sourced from the Christian tradition.

This term we will focus on (i) respect & courtesy and (ii) thanksgiving. We will encourage our whole school community to live the virtue here at St John Fisher in our thinking, decisions and actions.
