The children have been thinking about town/cities (urban) and countryside (rural).
We looked at photos and maps of both areas and investigated the similarities and differences between the two.
The children then decided and sorted the features of each to decide where photos and maps fit best.
We decided that some places had features that could place them in both categories but most were more rural or more urban.
