This week's 'Statement to Live By: 'I understand the importance of peace.'

21st May 2018

What is peace? What does it mean? Can you find the meaning in a dictionary? Why is it so important? Why is Jesus sometimes known as the Prince of Peace?

True peace comes only from love.
God is love, and peace is one of His gifts to us as long as we open our hearts and minds to Him.
We pray for peace in our world;
peace in our lives;
peace in our families and relationships;
And peace in our hearts.

It is peace that can lead us to true happiness and contentment at school and at home.
