FS2: The Tiny Seed

In FS2 the children have been enjoying Eric Carle's story: 'The Tiny Seed'.

They learned that plants and trees grow from seeds and bulbs. The story also taught them that plants have lots of seeds because not all of them will end up growing. During snack time we have been taking a very close look at a variety of fruit and have discussed the shapes, colours and numbers of seeds contained in different fruits.
