The Magic Porridge Pot and other Traditional Tales

23rd Feb 2024

This week we have been reading The Magic Porridge Pot. In class the children have been making their very own Magic Porridge Pots using clay.

Outside the children have been scooping, pouring, filling, sharing and mixing both dry oats and water with oats. They have re-enacted the story and imagined what else they would like a magic pot to give us - for example, popcorn, chicken nuggets and strawberries!

It has been lovely to see more children trying this week's Mouse Club activities at home - which are always linked to our class work.
