Y1 Science: Investigating Our Senses"

7th Oct 2022

The children have been investigating their senses today, as they enjoyed a carousel of activities linked to:

  • sight - tray game and optical illusions
  • smell - guess the smell - lemon, mint, perfume, coffee and onion
  • touch - feely bags and boxes

As a class they appeared to enjoy the taste test most, guessing what they could taste including: chocolate, crisps, raisins and cheese.

Finally they enjoyed a listening game!

The children enjoyed themselves and had lots of fun as they explained which body parts were associated with which senses!
