Sun Smart at SJF

Whilst we welcome the warmer sunny weather we have to be mindful that too much sun can pose its own risks to children.

On days when the weather is forecast to be hot and sunny, please apply protective sun cream at home before school.

Please do not send cream in for your child or someone else to apply during the day.

For exceptional cases please make an appointment with Mrs Pickering in order to discuss a care plan if there are compelling medical reasons why your child needs cream applied during the day.

Please also send your child to school with a suitable and appropriate sun hat and water bottle.
