Y5 STEM: Flying Aeroplanes!

The children have had a fabulous week, making and flying aeroplanes! They explored air resistance and investigated how streamlining reduces air resistance so aeroplanes can cut through the air more easily in order to travel further - and faster!

They tested this by making three different shaped planes and were challenged to find out which shape was was best shape. The Super Stunt Plane won!
