Annual St Clare Trust Mass

17th Oct 2025

We were delighted to take part in this year's St Clare Trust Mass which was held at St Marie's Catholic Cathedral in Sheffield City Centre earlier today. Our Chaplains from Y3 and Y4 attended along with five Y6 children who were our representatives in a special Trust choir that was made up from children representing all fourteen member schools.

The theme of the Mass linked closely to the Catholic Church's Jubilee Year 2025, and specifically its 'Pilgrims of Hope' theme, which served as a reminder that we are all called to carry hope forward in a world facing so many challenges. All schools were invited to prepare their own symbols of hope and our children created a rainbow as our symbol of hope.

We thank Bishop Ralph and Fr Chris, Mr Davies and all our Trust friends who were involved in the planning of this beautiful Mass, and of course our very own special representatives - children and staff - who were outstanding ambassadors of our SJF school community!
