St David's House Fundraising

23rd Jun 2024
Here is a message from Mrs Raynes, Head of House

I would like to thank all of the children for taking part in our A-Z matchbox challenge. I am pleased to inform you that it raised an incredible £224.50 for CAFOD.

Having looked through each matchbox, I was amazed with the ingenuity of children to find things for each letter! My favourites were ‘X’ – xylitol (a sweetener), ‘U’ – underlay (a small piece of!), ‘A’ – apple pip, ‘Q’ – QR code, G - gravel. Thank you to those who added herbs as this made the boxes smell beautiful! The winners for “best decorated” and 50 smilies are:
