TERM 6 LEARNING VALUE: Sports Majors' Assembly

5th Jun 2025

Our Sports Majors organised and led our latest School Value assembly this morning that focused on our Term 6 Learning Value, passion.

They spoke about passion and explained that it is very important because it is what motivates and drives us on, more than anything else, even when we find things tough to do or understand. They reminded everyone that passion enables us to be resilient and to keep pushing on to go further and further in sports, in PE, in classroom activities, and everywhere else. Passion helps us to focus and to be determined and fearless when learning or confronting challenges.

The Sports Majors encouraged the children to think carefully about some of the different ways that they can demonstrate passion and some of the responses offered included:

  • being enthusiastic
  • never giving up on dreams
  • having self-belief
  • demonstrating determination

Well done to our amazing Sports Majors, for planning and leading this valuable assembly and for inspiring others to also be passionate and strong too.
