Sports Day

4th Jul 2018

We all enjoyed our 'Sainsburys School Games' sports day last week!

There were ten teams and each class was split into one of the teams.

There was a carousel of 'School Games' activities during the morning and a traditional competition with races in the afternoon.

Each group was given the name of a different country and collected points for each activity. They received additional points if they also demonstrated any of our Learning Values.

Everyone was involved and lots of fun was had by all. The cheers of excitement and encouragement were heard all the way across Hackenthorpe!

Y2 were fantastic at supporting the younger ones and showed a real flare for teamwork! Great to see!
