This week the young people of FS2 have continued learning about mini-beasts.
They focused on learning all about spiders as we shared the story “Walter’s Wonderful Web”.
In this lovely story the children saw that the spider had to show resilience and determination when building his web.
We then made our own clay spiders and the children built their own webs, before writing a character description of Walter.
At the end of the week they investigated the 'Black Widow' and 'Goliath' spiders and wrote some facts about them.
