Y5 Science: Investigating Space!

11th Oct 2024

We are really enjoying our space project and we are learning that there is loads going on out there! Amazingly we know that there may be other planets billions of light years away!

We have been looking at the phases of the moon and how the moon changes shape over the course of a month. We have also learned that the tilt of the Earth really affects the seasons.

We have also been looking in the night sky and were rewarded by Aurora Borealis - also known as the 'The Northern Lights.'

Mrs Raynes took lots of photos for us to look at.
