Y5 Science: Investigating Our Solar System!

This week our Y5 scientists have been investigating our Solar System and the movement of the planets around the sun. They discovered that each planet has a different length of year.

Did you know that Mercury, the closest planet to the Sun, has a year that lasts only 88 Earth days and Neptune's year lasts an amazing 165 Earth years!

The children had great fun trying to imitate the movement of the planets. It was a very lonely and long walk for Neptune!
