Skipping School Competition

12th Jun 2018

What an amazing day we have had!

The Year 2's took part in the first ever skipping school competition in Sheffield. There was lots of hustle and bustle in the Sports Hall at Ponds Forge. 7 schools attended.

Everyone showed great teamwork and support for each other.

There was individual competitions for Double bounce, speed bounce, hop and swap, swing skip, face to face pairs and then there was the team games for Run jump out and keep the pot boiling.

Stefania got bronze for double bounce. Max got silver for double bounce.

Kessy got bronze for speed bounce.

Faye got silver for hop and swap. Gio got gold for hop and swap.

Kiya got bronze for swing swap.

Maya and Izzy got bronze for face to face pairs.

Riley and Tyler got bronze for Face to face pairs.

We couldn't believe the skills of everyone who took part. Most amazingly, we won overall! First place for the first time ever! We were so excited, we nearly burst. We couldn't believe it!

Well done to everyone.
