Y3: Sheffield Skipathon 2025

22nd Nov 2024

The #SheffieldSchoolsSkipathon has returned for the fifth consecutive year! The project was presented by Skipping School and is funded by the Sheffield Schools Get Active Group.

The #SheffieldSchoolsSkipathon took place this week with five days of very positive activity for children and school staff across Sheffield. The aim is to inspire and engage our children to be more active and have fun. It is about helping them to create sustainable activity levels and boost their self-esteem, confidence and overall wellbeing.

Skipping positively impacts on fundamental movement skills, agility, balance, coordination, fitness levels, playground activity, teamwork, communication skills, and much much more and all the children have had a go and thoroughly enjoyed it!

Thank you Skipping School!
