SJF Safer Internet Day 2026

11th Feb 2026

Safer Internet Day is a special day that happens every year in February. It reminds everyone how to stay safe online and how to use the internet in a kind and sensible way, especially children. Each year, Safer Internet Day helps people learn about important online topics like:

  • being kind online

  • staying safe from strangers

  • bullying on the internet

  • keeping personal information private

Safer Internet Day started in Europe many years ago, and now it is celebrated in about 170 countries around the world. As in previous years, the children in every class had special lessons to help reinforce key safey messages and to learn even more about the importance of making good choices when using technology. For more information, please click here. Thank you.
