SJF International Week 2019

As before, each year group will focus on a different country, developing a range of key skills as they investigate and learn about its location, maps, human and physical features, climate, culture, diversity, traditions, its peoples and much, much more.

Our cross-curricular approach will encompass all areas of the curriculum. 

The children’s work will be displayed  at our final exhibition on Friday 12^th July 2019 from 8.45am in the School Hall. All are welcome!

As preparation for the main week we are having a special dressing up day next Friday 24^th May 2019.

The children and staff are invited to come to school dressed in a colour (or colours) from the flag of the country they will be studying. They can also wear national dress if they have it.

We would appreciate a minimum donation of £1 per child  to support us buying resources and treats for this special week. Donations will be collected on the school gate at the beginning of the school day.
