SJF Chaplaincy Team News

2nd Oct 2022

As part of their role in school, the Chaplaincy Team have the task of planning and delivering the weekly Chaplain’s Liturgies either on Friday or Monday afternoons. This week’s meeting was spent collating our liturgies and getting everything ready. These liturgies are a chance for our Chaplains to lead us as we gather in prayer and reflect upon the key themes of the scripture readings.

This week the Y1 Chaplains, Imogen and Pedro, invited Mr Barratt to join the class so that he could be part of their special prayer time.

Our themes this week are:

  • ‘Forgive one another’ in Y1 and Y2
  • ‘Encourage others and show kindness to them’ in Y3 and Y4
  • ‘The Prodigal Son’ in Y5 and Y6
  • FS2 pupils have age-appropriate ‘story liturgies’ each Friday
