SJF Books of the Week!

27th May 2021

This week's recommendation for our younger readers comes from Mrs Sambrook and is called 'Alfie’s Story' by Sue Wilkins

Mrs Sambrook writes...

Alfie is a lonely, timid black cat who longs for a safe and loving home. Having shown great patience, his wish comes true in the form of a kind lady who owns two more cats. He has food, a cosy home and two new friends.

Sue Wilkins is a local author from Derbyshire who visited our school a few years ago for World Book Day.

Please click here if you would like to find out more about the book, or buy it. Thank you.
