The children have been learning the names of the different parts of trees.
They learned what the words evergreen and deciduous mean and then had a go at identifying both sorts of trees.
Outside the children collected leaves and did a bark , making a careful note of information gathered that was linked to a chosen tree.
In our next lesson the children use an information sheet to will record, and share, interesting facts about their chosen trees.
