Y1 Science: Creating Our Non-Fiction Books!

To consolidate new learning about the parts of a plant and their functions - and linking English non-fiction work - each child wrote their own book entitled 'Plants'. 

Some are on our Y1 Science curriculum display, some are in class and some will be on show at the next SJF Curriculum Showcase in Term 6. 

Understandably, everyone felt very proud of their work! We might even take some to read to FS2 to help them learn more about plants.
