We are loving our science topic this term!
We are using our knowledge about forces to answer lots of questions about flight.
We have looked at gyrocopters and tried to find the ultimate wingspan to slow down its ascent. Surprisingly, it wasn't the longest span! We originally thought that the increased air resistance would allow the gyrocopters to move slower.
We concluded that the increased weight had an effect on increasing the gravitational pull, pulling the gyrocopter to the ground quicker. Amazing!
