Our Y1 children have been learning about the parts of a tree and and that some trees are evergreen and others are deciduous.
They saw trees in our school ground and collected bark rubbings, leaves and information.
They also used a key to identify different trees based on the shape and colours of leaves.
In their next lesson the children will use all the information they have gathered and remembered to produce their own factsheet about a particular tree.
