Y1 Science: Exploring Autumn

Our Y1 scientists had a great time outside observing the impact of autumn as they studied leaves around our grounds. 

They were able to recall lots from what they learned about autumn last year, including, that the weather gets colder, that we can see lots more acorns, conkers and berries on some trees. 

Everyone had a go at completing a sorting activity and drew their own autumn trees, and will bring home an autumn treasure hunt sheet to complete over the holiday.
