Y1 Science: Investigating Plants!

Every Monday the children have time to monitor any changes and the growth of the sunflower seed that they planted at the very start of term.

Some children observed big changes this week with stems and leaves appearing; some spotted roots burrowing into the soil; and some will have to wait a bit longer and hope for some growth next week. 

Everyone discussed how their plants had changed since last week, trying hard to measure the height if there had been growth, recording their findings in their personal plant diaries!
