Y1 Science: Investigating Materials!

Our Y1 scientists have been busy naming objects, the main materials they are made from. They have also been trying to describe the properties (features) of those materials. For example, glass is the the material used to make a window. Some properties of glass are that it is smooth, transparent and rigid.

In groups the children sorted a range of objects based on their various properties.
