The children have been discussing the garden flowers that they have seen at home, in family gardens and walking around the area.
Some the the children knew included: roses, daffodils, tulips, lilies, sunflower and lavender. The children even designed a garden, adding plants of their choice and labelling each one.
We challenged the children to be 'Plant Detectives' and to look out for garden plants and flowers.
After the holidays we will be thinking more about wild flowers and trees.
