Today the children were describing different objects using our key words and learning that the features they observed, such as: 'hard', 'bendy' (flexible), 'rough', 'see-through' (transparent) are called properties.
The children then worked in pairs in order to sort sets of objects into groups, choosing the criteria for grouping themselves, based on properties e.g. 'bendy or not bendy'.
The photos show the criteria each group chose.
