The children worked hard, in pairs, to sort and group different objects.
They set their own criteria for grouping, with some using the materials to determine the groups, for example:
- glass/not glass
- fabric/wood
Others decided to focus on the properties of the materials, for example:
- flexible/rigid
- hard/soft
- transparent/opaque
