Y4 Safer Internet Day 2026

12th Feb 2026

Our Y4 children were very excited to join a BBC Live Lesson for Safer Internet Day, this week. They learned about the pros and cons of using artificial intelligence (AI), and how important it is to stay safe on line.

The lesson covered issues such as:

  • how to use technology safely, respectfully and responsibly;
  • how to recognise unacceptable behaviour and uanaccceptable behaviours;
  • how tojudge the credibility of information we search for using digital technologies; and
  • remembering that AI is not or ever a replacement for talking to trusted adults when help is needed

Well done everybody, for listening well and for designing your own fantastic AI chatbots!
