Y3 History: Our Amazing Roman Adventure!

18th Jan 2024

Here is a message from Mrs Broadhead

Today our Y3 historians went on an amazing adventure to the Yorkshire Farming Museum to take part in an immersive Roman day. They discovered lots of interesting facts about the Romans, including how and why they invaded Britain, what they learned in school; how to make oil lamps; and how to use Romans weapons!

It was a fantastic experience and everybody returned knowing at least one new fact!

Thank you to the children, who entered, enthusiastically, in to the spirit of the day, as well as everyone who supported them.
