FS2: Remembrance 2025

14th Nov 2025

The children in FS2 joined the whole school at church for the Remembrance Day service.

The children all decorated a poppy to go on our FS2 Remembrance cross. Together the children learned more about the important jobs our armed forces have done, and do, to keep us all safe - both now and in the past.

The children know that Remembrance Day is a very important day when everyone to pause, remember and be thankful. They found out about the importance of the poppy flower as a symbol of remembrance before creating their own beautiful poppy paintings.

The children were also extremely interested to learn more about the family members of some of our FS2 children who have also served in our UK armed forces.
