Reading for Pleasure: Our Weekly Recommendations...

22nd May 2021

For Our Younger Children...

This week’s book recommendation for our younger children comes from Mrs Darken and is called “The Extraordinary Gardener” by Sam Broughton.

Mrs Darken writes:

This book is beautifully illustrated, with a real wow ending. It shows the power of plants and little ideas.

The FS2 children loved the book and have since started planting lots of different seeds. A book that visually demonstrates the power of community and how hope/joy can spread. I loved it!
