Y1 RE: The Presentation of Jesus in the Temple.

Today, the children listened to the Bible story of Jesus being presented to God in the Temple. Simeon and Anna were filled with joy when they met Jesus. Simeon proclaimed that Jesus was the Light of the World and that God had sent him, while Anna recognised that he was the Son of God. The children then re-enacted the story and confidently recalled and spoke the words of both Simeon and Anna.

Well done, children!
