Y1 RE: Understanding Good Friday

Today, Year 1 had a very special morning. We watched a wonderful Passion Play performed by Years 3, 4 and 5, which helped us to understand the story of Jesus in His final days.

Afterwards, we spent time learning about Good Friday and reflecting on how Jesus showed His great love for us. The children listened beautifully and shared thoughtful ideas about the Passion of our Lord.

To finish, the children created their own paintings of Good Friday, expressing what they had learned and felt.
