In recent RE lessons, our Y4 pupils have been learning about Saint Peter—his journey of faith and his mission to preach the Gospel and build the early Church following the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
They explored Peter’s special qualities and reflected on how they are similar to him, while also recognising that, although he made mistakes, God still chose him to lead.
The children learned that they too are called to an apostolic mission, living holy lives through their words and actions. Each pupil created a ‘mini mission statement’ and designed a badge logo to represent this commitment. Well done, everyone!
