RE - Litany of Saints

1st Nov 2023

Our Y3 children have been exploring about the Sacrament of Baptism and learned that after sharing readings from scripture, the priest invites everyone to pray for the baby who is being baptised. The priest then asks the saints to pray for the baby as well as all their family and friends.

The saints are part of the Church family which the baby is joining - so - as a class, we did some research about some of the different saints and learned about their lives, their examples and why they are special.

The children then created some beautiful posters to share with everyone in school.
