FS2: It's Pumpkin Season!

Pumpkins are so beautiful and interesting to look at. This week the children have enjoyed comparing all the pumpkins we have in our classroom - thinking carefully about their similarities and differences. The compared sizes, sorted by colour and even weighed and measured them! 

The children also chose a pumpkin they would like to paint a picture of and thought carefully about the shapes and textures they could see, as well as all the different colours and shades of paint they would need.

We all think the paintings are fabulous!
