PTFA Update

26th Sep 2021

Thank you to everyone who answered the call and joined us for this year’s PTFA AGM. I would like to thank the members of the 2020-21 committee, who worked incredibly hard for our children in the face of the relentless challenges thrown up by the pandemic. I would also like to thank everyone who volunteered so generously at various times throughout the year in order to support them.

The Chair, Mrs Prestidge, shared an overview and Mrs Stanton, the Treasurer, went through the accounts. They have achieved an incredible amount and I thank them, Mrs Beatson, Mrs Cooper, Mrs Patterson and Mrs Ball.

After five fantastic years we bid a sad farewell to Mrs Prestidge and Mrs Beatson who are stepping down from the PTFA committee. We are enormously grateful for all they have contributed as part of the PTFA Committee. I am grateful that both will continue to be heavily involved in the life of the school as Foundation Governors.

I am delighted to inform you that our new PTFA Chair is Mrs Cooper, who will be ably supported by Mrs Stanton, Mrs Patterson and Mrs Ball. They will be joined on the committee by a new member, Mrs O’Donnelly, and we wish them all well for the year ahead. As the PTFA plays such a crucial role in school life I hope that everyone will continue to get behind them and support the brilliant work they do for our children!

If you have any ideas, questions or would like to offer your help please contact the committee via email (ptfa@st-johnfisher.org).
