Today the children were told that they would be reading a new book, however they were not shown the front cover.
The first page of the book had a present wrapped up, so we had the same.
However the children did not know what it was.
They felt, prodded, smelt and made predictions.
Their sentence had to include an adjective to describe and the word 'because' e.g. I think it is a teddy because it is soft and light.
We had lots of super guesses.
The answer will be revealed as we progress through the book.
It's a great one and I'm sure your child will come home telling you all about it soon.
