Y2 Science: Our Potato Maze!

Our Y2 scientists have been considering the question: 'Do plants need light to grow well?'

They made a potato maze in order to test to see if plants need light. They will see if the potato will move through the maze to reach the hole at the other end where the light is coming from. We placed the sprouting potato at one end of the maze before putting a lid on the box. We will then check on the potato every week to see what happens.
