Parents/Carers of Children with SEND

28th Apr 2024
Children with SEND: Information for Parents/Carers
We have been asked us to share information about an important opportunity for all parents and carers of children and young people living with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) who are preparing for adulthood.

They are invited to join other parents and carers who are in similar situations for a special coffee morning at the Sharrow Community Forum on Friday 17th May 2024 from 10.00am to 12.00pm.

There will be a guest speaker, Nigel Beatson, who is a Disability Employment Advisor Lead for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).

He and the SEND team will be on hand to offer advice and answer questions any parents and carers might have.
Anyone wishing to attend, is asked to first register (for free) via this Eventbrite link.

Please direct any questions regarding the event to Maria Swift, at the council directly, via her email address (maria.swift@sheffield.gov.uk).
