PANTO 2019: Cinderella

1st Dec 2019

We are all off to the Sheffield Lyceum to enjoy this year's panto, ‘Cinderella’ on Tuesday 10th  December 2019. As the performance starts at 1.00pm we will have to leave school at 12.00pm.

The children will have an early ‘picnic’ lunch at 11.00am so that we are ready to leave on time. There will be no hot lunches on the day so children are asked to either bring a packed lunch with them to school or choose the sandwich option from the school dinner menu.

Please make sure that you only select the sandwich option on Tuesday 10th December. If you have selected  another option please log into your 'ParentPay' account and amend or cancel your selection(s). Thank you.

PLEASE NOTE: Unfortunately we will not be able to provide extra lunches for children whose parents have forgotten to place an order so please ensure that you send your child with a packed lunch from home if this happens.

We aim to return to school between 4.30pm and 5pm on the day and parents/carers are asked to wait in the playground for their children, who will be brought back in to school from the coaches and released from their usual exits.

As it will be dark, and the children will be tired, we want to be very careful about how all the children are released. We therefore ask you to be patient with us and to wait in the playground. Please do not try to intercept the children straight off the coaches as this will make things very difficult for colleagues and volunteers who are trying to keep track of all the children.

The Lyceum will not confirm running times until they have had several ‘run-throughs’ but as soon as they have an idea, we will let you know likely return times. We will also stay in touch with school on the day itself about unforeseen delays e.g. traffic incidents etc. and colleagues in the School Office will send out texts and emails as appropriate. Please ensure that we have your current details on our records.

JPAC will operate as usual when we return to school. Children need to be booked in in the usual way.
